*NEW* JLP 3" Drop Shackels!

Ive done MANY shackle installs. The 2" shackle on a lightning makes the truck sit level. If someone were to put 3" shackles on their 99/02 Lightning,It would sit too low in the rear.
I think 3" on the 03 lightning would bring the truck down to about a 99/02 with 2" shackles.
These above statements should answer some questions that have not been answered yet.
The thing I do not undersatnd is on all the installs i did, chevy, ford old ,new. It would have been impossible to put 3" shackles on because of the clearance with the bottom of the bed.Anybody who has installed them can understand what i mean.My question is How is it possible to have 3" shackles??For the record,I buy 88-98 chevy shackles for all my lightnings because they are 1/2 the price and the same exact thing

Well i just installed the JLP drop shackles on my 01 and i only got about .25" more drop than with the beltech 2"drop shackles. I guess they are only really a 2" drop shackle on our trucks since the Beltech shackles drop it just under 2". I see what Lightningquick is saying about the clearence problem. There still lots of clearence with the JLP shackles but any more and it would be getting very close to the bed of the truck. I will post some pics later because right now it is snowing pretty good out in lower Michigan, but I don't think there will ne much of a difference at all.

actually the .25 is just enough, cause with my rims on without all the sand in the back i have too much of a rake effect, i would like just a "bit" more, i was afraid it would be too much in the back.
