I'm new to trucks so im still not understanding on how they are dropped. You can lower the truck with the shackles the same way you do with hangers? What is the difference. I was thinking of using the belltech drop, but doing shackles instead of hangers seems like a easier/cheaper job to do.

 

yes, shackles and hangers do the same thing, the lift the leafs closer to the frame.

but the longer the shackle the slopper the rear of the truck will get.

shackles are the cheapest way to go though.

and if you get a pan hard bar that ruslow sells, it will take all the slop out.

i'd just go with ruslow custom coils and jlp shackles.

or hotchkis all around, coils, and rear leafs but this is alot more $$$

JLP should grab up a lightning and show us.... come on, few weeks already, every shackle sold out, and knowone has a pic!?!

 

Thats what Iam talking about? I mean if I bought a pair, I would install them chop..chop and shot a couple pics. Wait a minute, forget that, I had a lowering kit for 6 months and haven't installed it yet
