Unhappy another 01 Bites the Dust

Tooling along and slight vibration in the steering wheel. Oil lite came on, I threw it neutral and coasted off on to the side of the Bay way..the older section...coasted to a lightpole....smelt oil, saw oil mostly from the head gaskets and down..some trailing off the back sides of the heads....Checked the dipstick and there was no oil on it...it had stained the ground all around waiting for the flatbed.

This Suposedly factory engine tagged with a remanufactured sticker on delivery has about 15000 miles on it since it was installed. 2 yr/24000 warranty should still cover the long block...and labor. Guess I'll find out the facts in a day or so.
Could not find any cracks or holes or rods hanging out anywhere...Bumped it once and it was making clattering and banging sounds. Scared my wife.

Dang dude that sucks, yesterday, i was drivin and i heard this banging noise, and 2 out of the three crankshaft pully bolts came out, the third on was barely hanging on, if that would have went i think i would have had a disaster. Im taking it in tommorow to get it fixed. Goodluck with yours.

WTF is that about
What do you mean exactly, the bolts that hold the pulley cage on ? isn't the pully itself held on by that big MO FO thread, then the 3 cage bolts hold the assy to the block ??? I removed my Pulley for an aftermarket cage-less, thats how I remember it

Dam either way, good thing you caught it in time
