Dumped the JL Amps and picked up a pair of Zapco amps...

Bought the Zapco CK9.0XD and Zapco CK4.0XD...the BEST amps on the market today.

As a result of the power these monsters can generate, I'm adding another L7 for a total of 4. I may add two more if my budget allows.

I can't wait for this thing to come together.

Are you running a c-notch? Also are you looking into an aftermarket alternator?

Thats good. When you find the alternator your looking at make sure to make a post of it, a lot of people including myself would be interested in that. Can't wait till you get your setup done, you will love the utopia's,, they are so laid back, I love them.

I wouldn't rate Zapco over JL for amps. Zapco has always made a top end product and based on sound quality, I would rate both amps as a toss up. What do you base your "BEST" comment on?

PS. I do not work for JL or anyone that sells JL. I have used almost every quality brand amp in my lifetime and don't get into brand bias.

The subs are wired series parallel to 2.66 ohms. You'd want the subs too? I paid $800 for the box and $550 for the subs. The box and subs weigh about 150lbs-200lbs.

Make me an offer. Email me.

Here are some pics of the box & subs, head unit, and sound processor. I still have to take and upload pics of my amplifiers, etc.

I disagree. Most of the folks I see running zapco amps are in it for SPL and not necessarily sound quality. There is no way you can even rate zapco and JL in the same category. JL is a joke in comparison. The only drawback is zapco amps are power sucking fiends.

I have always ran MMats amps. Have one left over from my spl days right now. It will go in the L soon.
