A/F ratio and timing

Got my truck back from the dealer last night so i put all my mods back on. I called my tuner to ask what my a/f and timing was on my chip. He said 11.8a/f on both sides and 11cold-14hot on street side timing and 16cold -18.5hot. How do these numbers sound for a 2 or 4 pound pulley?I might have the hot and cold numbers backwards if so correct me.

I don't know if your tuner measured your A/F or if he just gave you a program thatshould put you in that range. The only way to know is to measure it. Every engine and combo runs differently; you have to compensate for altitude, etc. Don't assume you're at 11.8 is my advice. For whatever reasons, my truck seems to run a little leaner than the majority of other trucks with the same program.

I'm lucky, we have a dyno 20 minutes from the house. Check your plugs and hopefully you will find someplace that can give some A/F numbers.

If you go to Mobile call Pete at 251-476-4445, he is a really nice guy and will set you up on the dyno. He does a lot of L pulls with me and can give you your graph with HP and A/F. Needforspeed is right, there is no way anyone can tell you what your numbers are, just what they should be with past experience on programs but all L are a little different. Or you can get with me and use our FJO and check it on the road, Im also in Mobile.

If the a/f is set at 11.8 is it not 11.8 all the time no matter what mods you have done to it to lean it up?
