Smile Full Roush is on

Nothing too difficult. Glad that it's finally complete. Going for a ride within the hour. I used a level to determine if my wheels were vertical. Took a while, for future installs note that the outer washers should be ligned up with the flat plate. Mine were factory torqued to 90, so I did the same. You'll understand when you install the cam bolts.

I'll post some results!

It rocks! Great stance, much better road feel, and corners great. I came up on a car hauling through the corners. It was a 99 turbo eclipse. I have no doubt that he was pushing the limit of his car, wide turns etc. Not the Roushed L, stayed in my lane and felt like I could have done 20MPH faster! I backed off of him, then we met up. He was impressed, to say the least. Now he knows what an L is!

I know it needs an alignment, just had to test it out though. Plus the suspension should settle a little before an alignment. And my tires are straight up acording to a 4ft level.

I think that Ford messed up on the L. This is the way it should have came from the factory. I wonder what the skid pad is on it now?

Where did you purchase your Roush kit? If you ordered it online include the URL. What was the cost? How long did the install take you? Are you using the Roush shocks?

If you want the best deal talk with Eric. They were running a special for 675, but that only applied if you talk with Eric. I don't know if the special is still going on or not.

Oh, and I have the JLP traction bars on. No problems.

Did you cut the rear bumpstops? If not, does the suspension bottom out very much?

Trying to start a Truck Class in the SCCA region. Going to the
board meeting with a presentation. They had one a few years
ago, but the "riced" out S10's didn't do very well (One even rolled!)

So wish us luck ... Thinking about ST (Stock Truck) MT(Modified Truck) and maybe GT (Grand Touring)

Whatta think ?????

Cliff

PS... Crazyone ... The board meeting is the 6th (thursday!)

Sounds like a cool idea Cliff.

I'm not that far from Louisville or Lexington (Indy)....

Depending on if a class is formed and my schedule, I'd love to hit the Auto-X with y'all.
