No glue. there is a lilltle set screw for snugness. Very easy and self explanitory when you see them.
Mine have never moved or came off and I just slipped them on.

also vinnie: i'm getting my ac ***** soon and i tried to pull the stock ones out just to see how easy it was. i couldn't do it! i could barely get a grip on them but after making a couple attempts i still couldnt make that thing budge. did you use something to pry it out or maybe a set of pliers?

i know that was WAY off topic but something this trivial didnt deserve its own thread imo. I would PM ya but no PMs on this board

i'll remove after you see it..
If you use pliers make sure you wrap the ends with a rag or towel and don't press to hard.........otherwise you will ruin the OEM switches. Why change em anyways....they are kinda cute. -Mat-

looks schweet!!
I am not sure if he did any internal porting, but it is a stock blower, and motor. If my memory serves me right he took the nitrous off. It desn't have a lot of performance mods, but it has all the bling, and is one clean truck.

thanks for the tips guys. i know its an easy install but i tend to complicate things

i got them used a pretty good price. plus its winter and i gotta do all the modding i can!

I plan on buying one billet item per week to feed my mod addiction. i like getting lightning parts in the mail, even if it is only 10-30 bucks at a time....

Its hard for people whom have lived in the north all their life to understand. But coming from Florida myself, when you first price the housing market, it just floors the chit out of you. I paid TWICE for my house in Jersey than what my house cost in Fla. and its on 1/4 the piece of land and the house is half the size, but thats the market. And where he is moving to, Iam sure its even more of a shock.

He told me his Lightning will be appearing on E-bay. So if anyone here would like a shot at it, maybe you should contact him before hand, but he wants 30K. Its worth the price of a new one

Rich is the king of bling. He was the first to take these trucks to the next level. There was still nitrous on it at Old Towne last month. I've got a great picture of his truck with the banner in front....lol.
