Thumbs up Anyone familiar with the Superflow Dyno?

http://www.superflow.com/

The reason I am asking is that there is one going to be installed in Warner Robins, Ga. in March. This will be the first and only dyno within our immediate area. I drive 2 hours to get my dyno runs done. Now it will only take 20 minutes.

I spoke to the owner(Reeves Automotive) this AM and he said the Superflow is both an inertia(Dynojet) and an eddy current(Mustang) dyno with top-notch software.

Any info/comments welcome.............

A friend of mine is putting one at his shop( Grimes Racing Engines). Garry Grimes said it's going to show lower # then
Dyno jet. But it will be real data and he will have a factor to
show the two. Garry is one smart dude and this dyno will be
running SCCA cars,Pro Stock, Winston cup. And I bet the first
Pro Stock car will be Warren or Kurt Johnson. Garry has
been friends with Warren for like 25 years. I will get first hand
info on this superflow dyno some day soon.

The superflow will hold a load on the car for like 15/20 minutes
if you want.

That's all I dyno my truck on. Most shops can't afford a $100k ++ dyno. Real accurate numbers.

Damnnnnnn! $100,000 plus This is a small shop that's getting one here. I'll try and help him out to recover 'some' of his investment.

I have never seen a Superflow dyno, but DAMN! it costs $100 dollars??? that's hard to believe. you'd have to sell A LOT of dyno runs to recoup that investment. a dynojet only costs $27,500. I think that would be accurate enough if I was the one buying the dyno

I'm a little confused? who's dyno costs $100,000+? or did I just read something wrong.

superflow does list dyno's on their website, but the one behind that link is just an ENGINE dyno starting at $24950

you have to remove the engine from the vehicle to use it. good for professional engine builders or race teams, but not for us.

Thumbs up

I dropped by Reeves Automotive a couple of days ago and talked to Steve. I got to see their Superflow--installed and already working.

Priced at $95 for 3 pulls/$125 for 3 pulls plus a/fs(tail pipe or bung). Your choice of inertia-type(Dynojet) or eddy-current(Mustang).

They haven't heard a modded Lightning at WOT yet !

Dan have you seen the ad for this in the Buyer's Guide?

$95 for 3 pulls? WOW. I was hoping for more like $50.
I guess I really did get a good deal at the NMRA...
