the STi is non uUS production as of now.

I think in 2004 or 2005 they're releasing a US stI and maybe at 300hp

well my buddies WRX is running around 280 hp now according to the mods he's done and similar cars since a 4 wheel dyno is hard to find. But he's going low 13's consistantly and high 12's on a good day when he shifts it perfect. Fun little car, I like it.

Both neat cars, but will they tow my boat? I doubt it. And I'm not too worried about them in a drag race, but even with my new suspension they may be too quick in solo2. Is it time to give the tdi to my wife and get an EVO for my daily driver?

Actually, the STi will be here by the end of the year as an 04 model.

Exclamation

I would get the EVO if I had to get one or the other personally. There are WRX's everywhere! It is crazy how many I see. There are 4 alone out of the groups of people I hang out with. I am sure an EVO can tow my jet ski and my quad around so that would do it for me. Hmmmm maybe I should reconsider the Bronco I am looking at>??? -Mat-

I'd like to buy one, do a couple mods to 300hp, and spend 1.5k on new body kit.

those kits make em look good. But thats too far the ricer route.

that's because the WRX has already been in the market while the EVO hasn't. Of course you're going to see more of the WRX.

As for picking one, I'd want an EVO too. Make mine a Ralli Art Tommi Makinen edition please

Very respectable little pocket rockets. i just hope they aren't too limited (production #-wise) and they're under 30k. Vette-killer in my book (both straight-line and handling).....

I wasn't stating how I see my WRX's then EVO's just stating there are WRX's everywhere I go. Too many of them. They are becoming "trendy" where I live. I am sure the EVO is gonna be the same way and that is why I most likely will not buy one. But whatever.......my the 2nd Gen Lightning will always be #1 in my book. Hell Yeah! -Mat-

Thumbs down As good as the L is

I will not easily buy a domestic vehicle again. There are too many little things that go wrong or were overseen by the designers.

On our vehicles, even a partial list looks horrifying. The famous Herb-washers, the door-crack, cracking foglights, spitting plugs, all of them seem to me to be fundamental bad design decisions.

My $500 deposit is in for a 2004 WRX STi.
