Wrecked the Truck

sorry
sorry to hear that man. People suck.
Here's some advice.....find the best people you can to work on your truck, buy him lunch and see if you can have them meet you when the appraiser is going to look at the truck. 2 things can come of this....
the guy doing the work can work on the appraiser to get more money for repairs...
or the guy doing the work might just happen to know the appraiser and he will willingly allow for more money for the repairs.
Other than that if it goes in any old shop, they could end up using aftermarket repair parts and just trying to micky mouse fix things that should be replaced.....good luck.

Nice Slice, How was the swing?
Slices are difficult and often costly to repair, Watch the amount of bondo they use on your Lightning, Max 1/8 of a inch of if you can get away without any, all the better. Good luck and I' am glad you were not hurt and are around to post. Good luck with the bodyshop you have a SVT so be picky and watch them close, Good luck friend .
