Iam taking your question for face value SVT_KY.

The POS Bassani clamps do not tighten down, they only tighten as far as the ears allow, where as the U-bolt design allows for crimping the pipes together. If you sit here and say that the Bassani clamps are doing their job, I for one ask two questions....
