Comming from Texas, there is probably no rot. Is that a 95 or 96???

With 130k, and towing, the tranny could be questionable. My 90 had the E40D, had some trouble with it. My father's 89 XLT had the C6, that thing was bulletproof.

Good luck!!!
The truck is a 96. It did not tow it was TOWED. I am certainly not worried about the tranny that is what I do for a living. I will let everyone know on the exact condition when it gets here. I will put it on a lift and look over everything. My brother has 90 eddie bauer(sp). It is a 5.0L though. He used to have a 96 5.8L mass air truck. He traded it in on his Lightning. That thing had some nuts. Used to destroy the vtecs. I can't wait to get this thing. -Mat-

Gutsy move buying a vehicle with that high of mileage without seeing it in person. A good detailer can make a vehicle look pretty impressive on the surface. I hope it turns out to be the truck that you expect.

Nice clean truck!
I had a fully loaded black '92 Eddie Bauer which I LOVED! It had the 5.8L but it was before they started using the mass air. The only problem I ever had was the fuel pressure regulator died and was leaking fuel through the "failure line" (for lack of a better term) back into the upper intake causing it to run very rich (black smoke, staggering, etc.). Kinda wish I had that sucker back!

cool, I had a '93 eddie bauer 4x4 bronco about 4 years ago. A part of me really wishes I could still go off roading and tear up some fields but the other side is driving to fast to care.
I hope to own a 96 (last production year) again at some point. just to have to take on trips and to the keys with a boat or something

Thumbs up It's coming.

Well I got my title and invoices today from FedEx. I called them to ask a question and they said it should leave Texas around noon time on Monday. I am so excited. Almost as excited as when I got my Lightning. I can't wait. -Mat-

I had a '91 with a 4" Superlift and 33X12.50X15 BFG Mud Terrains and I LOVED it! I got rid of it for my L, but I enjoyed every minute I spent in that Bronco. It was a little like driving a tank (NO responsiveness whatesoever), but man it was fun.

I have 2 86 broncos with the 5.0 engine. One has the manual tranny w/granny gear. I am doing a frame off resto that will take about 2 years due to being way backed up at work. I plan on a 9" lift and smoe serious HP mods. Broncos are cool. That truck looks clean, as long as the drivetrain is Ok you will have a lot of fun. Let me know if you need any parts off one of my trucks (if they are interchangable) 5.0,aod,transfer case axles etc.. no charge

Thumbs up

Well it came tonight. I am a very happy person right now. All around it is a nice truck. One problem though..........4x4 does not work. I am thinking bad hubs. I will have to put it on the lift and see if the driveshaft turns or not. But all in all I guess I got what I was expecting..........Now on to a chip, filter and exhaust. -Mat-
