Cliffs truck is a bit of an oddball. His truck is not a run of the mill tune. His truck made 20hp LESS than it made today, with another brand chip. That means he was previously making almost STOCK power with all the mods before. His tune is still not where I'd like it to be, so we'll be tweaking it some more, but at least he's making some power now, and most importantly, he's happy .

don't pay any attention to the haters! lol
Come on Beef I know your a PSP dude but he can certainly make more hp and "last"

I am far from a hater as I ran plenty of Sal's parts.

Can't answer any questions about the dynos #'s except to say they where rwhp/rwtq and supposed to be corrected numbers. The a/f measurement was right on and the dyno operator even told me to tell my tuner that he is right on with his work!
And I told Sal that

Gator ... Is that corrected crank HP? or RWHP?
That was also on the street side, waiting to run the race program on the dyno

Reading between the lines, it would seem that the numbers are not from a Dynojet which most people have access to and use. Just like a Mustang dyno typically gives lower values than a Dynojet; the one being used, "Dyno Dynamics," cannot be compared to a Dynojet.

Everytime a dyno post goes up it becomes fodder for this board. I've learned to keep mine to myself so I don't have to answer to peoples "concerns" over A/F and not a"safe tune" statements.

Cliff - Glad you had a good experience and she's running good. Dyno time and collecting data is somethithat I really enjoy also.

i am now curious,

was this on a mustang dyno?

md dyno's read on average 8% less than dynojets

some more some less

lidio from alternative auto did a test for 5.0 mustang last year on the same day on 4 different dyno's , 2 md's and 2 dynojets

the md's averaged 8% less

thats the difference my cobra made also

Beef ...

It's on the same Dyno Dynamics as KINGPIN used in AZ when
he DYNOed his '03 ... It is a new Australian Dyno, and it is very
nice. I have never seen a "Mustang" Dyno, so I can't comment.

What I found interesting was that now I have two sets of
numbers, and a third set of someone else's stock run to try
and make some decisions. I'm sure that Sal has some more
tweaks to do, but hey ... 20 HORSES is a big jump for just a
chip change, eh? That's what I'm excited about ... Comparing
Apples to Apples ... My truck, two runs, same Dyno ...

Hey ... You still selling parts, bud? I might need some
BLING BLING soon ...

EDIT: Went back and looked up KINGMAN's POST ...
