OMG, Story of the Bad Luck! Stupid L....

well the truck isn't stupid, but listen to my luck here......

ever since i put on the billet grille........

1. while i was installing i noticed that the passenger light was super cloudy (damn water in there).....

2. Come home and notice my passenger headlight bulb was broke.

3. Replace the bulb, but find out that the new bulb was defective...

4. Get another new bulb and replace it, then find out that the rear driver side tail light has water in it, and is super cloudy....

5. 2 days later the truck doesn't start (you all know the story on that)

6. Dealer has truck for almost 7 days and they didn't do anything.

7. Next day it doesn't start, (you all know the deal)

8. Starts fine, and runs great for some days but then the most recent problem......... My Passenger side Fog Lamp Bulb went out!

Geesh im having terrible luck..... in the past week, my passenger side head and fog lamp both went out, my truck wasn't starting, i've got water in the front and rear lights, and to top it all off, 94 Octane super sunco is $2.04 a gallon here...... what a couple weeks........

I would assume the dealer will fix the light problem
cause it's defective if it's full of water ...

Good Luck

Wow! I guess that fits in the category of "If it wasn't for bad luck, you wouldn't have any luck at all." Sorry to hear about all your problems. Good luck on the fix.

sounds almost like your having electrical problems in general.....my tail lights fog up now and again when its humid out...no problems though with blowing bulbs. The truck not starting, and the bulbs at both ends and sides going out...seems related somehow

well both trucks I have owned had the tail lights fog up sometimes..thats nothing to worry about IMO...I never had any problems. So do you have the 99-00 fogs or the 01-02? So the first HL bulb burnt out ,,then you replaced it with a defective one?

just trying to get the clear picture...

01-02, when the HL bulb went out, i went to Napa and got some "blue" bulbs, and one of them was defective, i put it in and it didn't work, the brights worked but not the regular, so i took it back and got some other one.
