Smile Well, the delay is finally OVER!!! YAY!!!

After more than 15 months of what essentially amounts to a stock truck (in relative comparison to what MOST of you crazy fools on here have), I'm finally turning to the darkside, and getting me a 4# pulley tomorrow at REM.

I was happy with the 13.4 I clicked off, and with my dyno too, with the few mods I have thus far.............but the speed/power bug has been eating at me for weeks now.........hence my decision.

While I'm at it, I'm getting some TR6's installed, and it's time for an oil change too..........If I can get it to hook, will I see my 12's here soon???? Only time will tell........

In the meantime, I'll post tomorrow night what my SOP meter says with an extra 4 #'s of boost. I've read that the "Before-and-After" effect in terms of power is the most noticeable with this mod...........so I can't wait!!!

Thumbs up Sweet.

Mods are the best. The seat of the pants difference will be big. I am sure you will have a big azz grin on your face. If you get some traction bars I could see some 12's in your future. Goolduck with it. -Mat-

YOU GONNA LIKE IT MiamiWhiteSVT-L

And yes you'll get your 12
I ran a 12.8 @ 106.4 with just a filter-chip-n-4lb pulley
on bald F-1's WITH NO TRACTION BARS
"BUT PROPER COOL DOWN AND AIR TEMP IS EVERYTHING"
You need a hot ground and cool air to make it easier.

I'm shooting for 11's next time out

With the added torque from the 4lber, traction will be your biggest problem

I'll be there tomorrow at 3. I've been battling the SES light and I've finally narrowed it down to my 90 mass air or the chip program, i think my mass air is bad......Anyways, after that dyno day I got the truck tuned, and it pulled a respectable 355/497 after some tuning. See ya there

Well, the truck is getting worked on now.............I am back in my office, and realized I forgot my lunch at home, and I have no cash in my pocket..............looks like it's time to scam some food off of someone.

On a side note, as I was dropping off my truck at REM, Paul drove his truck around the block so I can hear his full exhaust...........It is honestly the first time I hear a Lightning in which the exhaust note is louder than the blower whine.............It sounded freeking SPECTACULAR!!!!!!! It sent chills up my spine!!! Forget dyno results or whatever.................the sheer power display and sound is KILLER!!!!!! The orange beast is that much more monstrous now!!

Awesome JC. Give me a call if you want to go to the track sometime. I have since added a few more things to the mod list and I pulled 510lbs of TQ on my last dyno pull. I also added D/R's to the back for traction, so I am hopin for some good track numbers

You should definitely be in the 500 ft/lbs+ torque range when you're done, which is the grunt that'll get you low 60' times and into the 12s. Especially if you have Tim and Paul work the chip program on the dyno. And yep, that orange beast sounds mean as all hell, even at idle. Has to set off car alarms cruising through parking lots...

a #4 pulley won't put him at the 500lb mark for TQ just yet. Needs to add a #2 upper to push him over the edge

Well, several people have managed it with less, and he has a strong truck to start. Mine is making 505 ft/lbs with a 5# pulley and a total of 13#s of boost. So a 4# pulley shouldn't be too far off that mark...
