bling pedals?

I know both Roush and Steeda make these as well as some other sources. I was wondering how they attach? On the Steeda site, it says they "go over" the factory pedal....so do they clip on over them? Like a "pedal-cover?"

Also any opinions on finish and quality, etc are welcome.

Thanks...

I installed Steeda pedals on a Cobra a week or so ago and they were a PITA in my opinion. you have to drill holes in the pedals (metal clutch, brake and dead pedal, plastic gas). it wasn't a really big deal or anything, i'm just **** and it takes a little bit of patience trying to hold the pedals in place one at a time making sure that they will all be straight and even when done and marking and drilling the holes so that all of the screws go in straight. there is alot of room to move them around, so you kind of have to decide where you want them and just start drilling.

they looked ok though if you are into them. some people commented that they looked too ricey, but I thought they were ok.

later,
chris

I have these:

and all three pedals screw in. The only thing I didnt like was that they came with black and silver screws which looked kinda weird so I went to Home Depot and got all matching stainless ones.

I think they were like 65.00. You have to drill all 3 pedals. E brake and brake are metal (first remove rubber covers) and then drill right into the gas which is plastic. That is the pic from their site. If you look closely at the brake you will see that the 4 screws are black. I wasnt into that so I went and grabbed some all stainless ones.

i'll never do pedals again after i did my cobra.

PITA like a couple guys said above, if your a bigger guy like me it's even harder to do....

i got mine from a mustang site, and the pedals have a snake logo, you have to drill the holes thourgh the metal...... and the drill will keep slipping and stuff, so it's hard to get them precise....

i'll never do it again it took like 5hrs of pure agony.

Cyntaxx- Dont let the issues with drilling through the metal pedals worry you. Just mark the holes with a pencil and use a real small bit to start a pilot hole so you dont run into any issues using the larger bits.
