L becomes the primary driver

Well the 170,000 mile Isuzu Trooper grenaded the tranny and I've been driving the L daily for a couple of weeks. Realized how much I like driving it so I am going to make it the daily driver for awhile . I've only put 10,000 miles on it over the last 3 years but that is soon to change .

Why not drive it and enjoy it . Its not like a modded L is going to ever be a collectable or anything. Plus, if a new generation comes out the Gen 2 prices will drop like rocks.

Kinda like "use it or lose it."

Felt that way since day one . I already have 22,000 miles on mine and love driving it.
I do have a winter vehicle, but will still drive the L if the roads are clear.
Having way too much fun.

IMO with as many L's as Ford has built, this won't be much of a factor stock, or not. Like you said, use it, abuse it (a little anyway ), enjoy it, unload it.

I bought my 2001 with 4600 miles on it. I used to drive it everyday but I didn't like seeing the miles rack up. Now when I drive it, it feels like the first time!!

I bought an STS for winter/bad weather driving, but otherwise I love to daily drive my beast too. Its a 2000, just crossed 43000 miles.
