Auto Meter Fuel Guage question

i just got in an autometer electrical fuel press guage, it came with a wire harness premade that goes from the sender to the back of the guage, it might not be long enough, can i splice in some more wire between the connectors for more reach........

tks jim

If you are placing the sending unit where the Schrader valve is, then you will have plenty of wire. If not then splicing in more wire is fine.

Yep, that’s where it was going, from there along the top over the s\c , in the grommet that the boost gauge tube goes through then to the a pillar three gauge pod...

Tks for the reassurance...

Are you able to install the gauge without an adapter? I need one with my auto meter gauge. If you do need it (3280) you can order it from Checker and have it in two days.
