oil in intake tube, need a fix

how do I fix this? I did a search and found something about a filter, I'd rather not use the ball bearing fix

You have TWO oil sucking problems.

Oil Seperator will HELP one, NOT STOP IT

New PCV FIX "OR" Breather WILL STOP the other
(oil in the FRONT of the Throttle Body)

Search my post on it last week, and you'll get two free ways to stop it.

Ok, I'll make it easy for you

It gets complicated at times
Lots have differant opinions,
mine even changed BUT then wen't back, PCV FIX WILL WORK

Yes Captain, so far, so good
and I'll be taken the throttle body off soon to install the new PSP Nitrous Plate and report back with pictures

And yes Blown By You, the Harleys are the same.
However people with stock or lower boost levels seem to have less problems than those of us running 4 or 6lbs and other Performance Mods.

FYI, I have had "all the fixes in the past", Seperator, Breather, Spring loaded Check valve, etc...
but I found it a Royal pain in the *** to keep emptying the oil seperator and really wasn't fond of looking at a Dirty Breather when showing the Motor, so I took it all off. Ya my oil problems came back, but it doesn't seem to affect the performance so I didn't care. However I am concerned after seeing the oil found covering peoples intercooler that have taken the manifold and S/C off, so when I saw the neat fix thats unseen, I went for it.

Call Swanson Performance

Call Swanson performance for the proper pieces to fix the oil problem. The pieces can be bought from him for around $20 bucks and can be installed in under 1 minute. I have been running this mod for a couple of months with absolutely no oil in my intake, throttle body or rubber boot. Great product for a great price. The shops # is (310) 787-7800.

Danny fixed mine a few months ago and I have ZERO oil in the intake!! My intercooler after 10,000 miles looks as clean as a new one out of the box! It is invisible and cannot be seen. Boost hits way harder and seems to make more power also. Took less than 1 minute to install. May be the best mod that you can do! Skip

I just installed mine this weekend. Because of this new 'mod', I removed both my breather cap and my oil seperator. Btw, there was no oil in my th/body or intake pipe but like Rob, I didn't like the 'looks' of the oily breather and my Condensator oil seperator is huge and kinda ugly . Now, my eng. bay looks almost stock, well, except for the intake pipe, th/body, and Plasma Booster.......

Hey Rob_02 you mentioned something about two free ways to fix the problem, but when I read that huge thread the only thing i really saw was your kit, a ball bearing, breathers, and other ideas, but nothing free. So after all that reading which way did you end up keeping your truck? Also LIGHTNINROD did you buy the same kit as Rob_02 or the one mentioned from swanson?

Thanx,
Bill

Actually if you really want to eliminate oil in the TB and blower you
completely disconnect the pcv hose that goes to the upper intake which is
really called a throttlebody spacer. Cap it off at the blower and put a cap
on the tee that is between the lower intake pickup(down behind the intake)
and the pcv valve that is in the passenger side cam cover. You also change
out the POS stock pcv with a Mustang pcv. Mustang valves seal off when you
blow backwards through them. Now not only are you NOT blowing backwards
under boost through the pcv you are also NOT recycling the blower since the
upper port is capped off. I know your asking well what does this do for
A/F's? It does not change A/F's. I know because I did before and after dynos
where the A/F's were checked.
Just my .02 and the driverside is NEVER blocked off and their are no valves other that a pcv..

Ok i just read all the posts and im still confused. I don't have an "L" or a harley. But will any of the tricks that have been posted work on a N/A f150 with a 4.6? I have oil build up on my TB and it can be nasty sometimes. If i open the tb and look at the elbow i want to cry from the amounts of oil back there.
