****: I have JDM's single, Magnaflow(14568), c/b that I got last year. I thought it had an internal x-pipe? Is mine like the one you tested?

Ive said this several times and people have doubted me.

The muffler Magnaflow uses for the Lightning catback is NOT available as a seperate muffer although they have one that looks identical. You will find NO part # on the muffler that is on the lightning catback btw.

The L catback has a 3.5" y pipe on both ends. Through the middle is a 2.5" straight pipe. Its a very LONG X crossover.

How about without Hi-flow cats. I have read that the cats do add H.P.. So what about just the cat-back?

After all the info we have had available for the past few years, I find it tough to believe now there's a catback that SUDDENLY is clearly superior. And even if it was true, Nothing sounds better than my bassani!!!

03' Lightning

The Magnafow part is #15714 . Flying **** is correct that the only way to get this muffler is in the system. Vinnie my truck only
has this cat back,it does not have the high flow cats. ****

Any sound files of this setup? Any Dyno sheets we can see?

I really want to get an exhaust system for my truck and can't decide between them all.

I guess i will let the cat out of the bag.

Magnaflow has revised their catback. Its a brand new one with even a newer muffler. System is also much louder then before. If you want anymore information, call them yourself.

I'm seroiusly considering trying them. It's the 15714 system correct? There is very little information on the Maganflow website just specs and a picture. The local Muffler shops can't even get me a price. I found it for $430 with free shipping on the internet which is cheaper than the Silver Bullet and Bassani.

the only downside i see to the cat back is the single muffler, ive never really been crazy about single mufflers but then again im not an exhaust expert

Just got off the phone with Tim@Magnaflow. He told me that the stock L he tested made 318.1 HP max at the wheels and after the system was put on, it made 334 Hp max (I had to wait while he found the dyno sheet). Also he quoted me a price of $416.67 + shipping.

urstruck--
I called up Full Line Exhaust in Atl and they quoted me $331.71 + shipping and said it would take 4-6 weeks to have it delivered. I ordered mine today!
