did you order the 15417 or what? I talked with one shop and he wasn't aware there was any difference between the 15417 muffler and a 15468.

Ok 15714 is what I meant. The dealer I talked with said they used the same 15468 muffler in that 15714 setup. Is there a certain build date for the new muffler?

I talked to John at " http://www.hottexhaust.com " real nice guy, very helpful, they carry the system for $428 with free shipping. He checked with Magnaflow and they stated 16HP and 20lbs torque gain on a stock Lightning. He also mentioned the universal muffler is the same for those who don't want the system.

I have yet to see a Lightning dyno at 318.1 hp anywhere. Most dyno at 334-344 STOCK so tell them to take the banana out of the tail pipe BEFORE they put the new exhaust on.......

Mustang Dynos show lower HP than a dynojet. It could be they have a mustang dyno...

I ordered from Larry at SBD. Mine will be here Monday. This system retails for 583.35. He sells them for 477.75 + shipping. I have no idea what the part # is but will do a follow up. Larry is an excellent guy to talk to. They have done many L dyno runs. And he just purchased an 03 L a couple weeks ago, he loves the power and sound of the new exhaust system. If you want to know more give him a call.

My times are pretty consistent. And my Dakota friend is now .06 seconds slower than I am in the 1/8th, I'll know for sure if it's the same, better, or worse. Stay tuned.

I installed one and did not like the fittment. I disagree with any ontehr than minescule power gains from a muffler.
