Roll cage options?

Is there any way to have a sub 12 second legal roll cage and be able to have a complete back window? Removable bars/window? Anything?

I'm not willing to give up my baby as a daily driver, but I'd really like to push it into the fast teritory...

I had my local glass co. order me just the plastic outer frame that the slide window goes in. Then we orderd a 1/8" piece of smoked lexan. That will be glued and screwed in place, we are also adding foam rubber seals around the tubes going out the back window. Hope this helps.

Peace, Suavy

I'll post pick by the end of the month.

I have been playing around with ideas to seal the hole in my rear glass. I thought of this the other day and have been playing around with it a little. It is kinda hard to figure out exactly how it will work since my truck is 300 miles away.

I got myself some roll bar padding, and cut it to fit snug against the rear windoe, then I plan to silicone any remaining gap from the outside.

I am trying to find simillar foam that the tube is not offset.

Yup

I was fairly certain you can't make a legal one. How often do the tracks complain about things like swing out bars?

I was thinking have some way to pop out the entire rear window, then have bars to snap in place.

It has to actually work as a roll cage, no PVC for me...

I wish there was a way to have a legal cage without going through the rear window, but I couldn't figure out a way.

I've checked with 3 experienced roll bar manufacturers. All three said removable rear bars are a no no.

Just put more ballast in the bed. You'll get better traction, killer launches and stay at 12.01

Your own little bracket race...
