The ported intake may hurt stock apps. If you increase the intake port dimensions and set it on a smaller stock head port you will cause turbulence. It will act like a NASAR restrictor plate. Air will hit the smaller raw edge of the head side and cause flow issues. I think it is a good mod for those with ported heads because the runner will match and be more continuous. ANy engineers in the crowd
