If you want to know a few facts about security, visit someplace like insecure. org (then click on exploit world). There is no secure OS. No widely available server product is much more or less at risk than any other; it's a matter of politics and media coverage or the lack thereof.
It is also proven that most often, the system administrator has either forgotten or failed to install preventive hotfixes, which also happen on all types of systems, not just MS or Unix.
I Hope there was a recent backup; cause a forum is alot of data to lose. It would be a shame to not be able to call the search police anymore.
