I have 20" rims and the tires are 275/45/20, due to traction id like 295's on the rear. The rim is 20x8.5, i heard they will hang over, but some say it looks cool. Guess ill find out. What 295/ /20 is as tall as 275/45/20. or should i get 4 295's.

a 295 is not rated for that rim size,

you do not want to go that wide of a tire

 

i'm not sure about the concern beefcake brought up, but a 295/40/20 will be slightly smaller (about a half inch).

a 295/42/20 would be the same, but no one makes anything like that that I know of.

the largest they have is a 285 in a 20 series, the recommended rim with is 9.5 to 11.0 with a preferred with of 10.0 inches

i am not talking about height, i am talking about recommended rim width

 

I understood you were talking about width. I just was stating based on height only what would be the same.
