Thumbs down Whats the Matter, A Brother Can't Wave ???

Just dropped my Son off at religion class.
As I'm approching a red light heading west, I see a Red Lightning approching the same light heading east. I'm in the left lane, and he's in the right lane, another words face to face side by side, one empty lane between us

I wave ""of course"", NOT EVEN A LOOK FROM HIM

I hope the SOB's plugs spit out today, ALL 8 OF THEM
OK, I'm just kidding (in case it's one of you)
But Come on, now even a look or wave, we were a few feet away from each other

Rob,
You may have just got a rude fellow that does not really know the trucks.

I have had my 1st Gen forever and I always wave regardless if its a 1st or 2nd Gen. Believe it or not, the only time I did not get a wave was by a guy in a 2nd Gen. It turned out to be a kid that owned it and he did not even know there was such a thing as a 1st GEN. Many people just run out an buy these trucks because they have a reputation of being fast, they don't really know how special they are or the following that goes with owning one.
There are a few 2nd Gen owners that have owned both generation trucks and know them well; Jim, Sal, Don to name a few. Most of the Lightning owners will wave or flash the lights, because we all know its always great to see another SVT truck.

It's nice when someone with the same truck as you waves or honks, sort of shared interest.

Or maybe it was someone who had a lot more important things on their mind than paying attention if their is another L across from him or not. Just because the guy didn't wave is hardly enough reason to come on here and label a person as being rude.

yeah I know I get the same thing from L owners, I wave and they just look at me funny. Well in the grand prix they look at me funny, HAHAHHAHAHA.

Honestly thought in my truck I've never came across a a$$hole L owner on the street that didn't wave or honk. Allot of them kinda do a double take when I go past them anyway, but thats just cause they the honeys in the passenger seat.

It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon and I saw a gorgeous silver 01, and I waved. He was going the opposite direction, but waved back. Since it was Sunday and everyone was out driving around, we managed to land right next to each other at a light sometime later on in the day. We ended up talking all afternoon and I took him for a ride in my truck and then he showed me all of his JDM mods sitting is his garage, etc.... His Pro-Sport bed cover looked awesome!

(Random L story) hehe

I have only seen one other L on the road since I got mine... She gave me a big smile and I returned it... No wave necessary, I could feel the L love.... LOL

On that note... any of you AZ L owners plan on stopping by the Pavilions tonight? I may stop off there on my way home from my folk's house tonight. (7:30 ish)

No he saw me, no doubt about that

Young guy too, wearing a black cap with flames on it.
Probably late 20's mid 30's ?
Maybe he saw a bald old man driving a L
and decided I wasn't cool.

Too bad I didn't get a chance to show JR how a Lightning is suppose to run

No biggie, he's not obligated to wave at me

"Just dropped my Son off at religion class."

How can you force your son to abide and learn religion. !!

He should learn the world for himself and follow his own rules.
well thats just my stance. I'm sure you've got yours

Dude,

Your 100% correct
I haven't been in a church since 8th grade
(other than Weddings and Funerals)
And Him nor Me have ever gone to Sunday Church (he's 8)

But Unfortunately you have no choice these days unless you don't want him to receive communion, Confirmation, etc...
When he gets past Confirmation (is it) ???
I'll cut him loose to choose
Right now it's all a horse a pony show for my
Catholic Italian Family.

None of them have ever been in a church either,
but it's just right to at least let him recieve his
Communion and Confirmation and then let him decide.

A large breasted Women teaches the class and he loves it.
I love to pick him up
all his friends are there, so for now I put up with it.

Hey Rob,

As a fellow LI'er I've got to say that many L drivers don't wave back. Therefore I've pretty much given up on the wave thing.

Man I hope you don't wish bad things like that on me.

P.S. I've owned both a Gen 1 and 2.
