Next years Lightning should be competitive with it. 500 HP and 500+ ft. lbs. Probably $15K+ cheaper also. That said, that is a neat truck.

I haven't seen a SRT-10. As it stands today the Lightning is the fastest production truck. "No release date has been set for the long awaited Dodge Ram SRT-10.". I think this means that it is not being sold. If we are going off of promises and concepts then the 04/05 Lightning is the fastest production truck. But I have a drawing of my own concept truck that has 800HP and 985LBTQ, I am seriously considering making 1000 units per year. So my new conpany will have the fastest production truck.

Long shifter? Look at the middle picture, then look at the one on the left. WTF?

that's just the angle of the picture. The shifter has a bend in it and the middle picture's angle doesn't show it...only the top part of the shifter thus making it look shorter.

If they release this truck before the new L, it may be the fastest but with there updated 1/4 mile et of 13.8...it will not be quickest.

The 03 Hemi does not have the flywheel HP and TQ that an 01 - 03 Lightning is putting to the wheels.

Thumbs up

I hope they come out with it soon. I also hope ford keeps selling the lightning close to it's current price.

A little "compitition" never hurt anyone in the land of the free.
