Sweet Amp Rack Set-Up

Finally got my amp rack built. This thing came out alot better than I thought it would. I built it so I can easily lift the board with the amps on it to get to all the gains and other controls.

Looks awesome but the one thing you should have done is put the sub on the passenger side.

It makes more bass that way.

besides that you did a sweet a$$ job with the rest, NICE WORK!!!!!

When I had my box built they told me the same thing. I guess it gives the sound waves more time to spread out or something like that.

My JL is actually a dual voice coil, and 2 subs take up to much room. I like bass, just not alot of it.

Looks real nice. Which JL sub did you use? Looks like a w3 model to me.

HAHAHA, I used to have just one 12" w6 in my truck for a long time.

Honestly though if I was going to do it I would put the sub on the passenger side cause the wave does then have more room to expand in the truck and sound allot better with the windows up. With the windows down its not going to make much of a difference to you with only one, but its up to you if you want to change it or not.

Anyway you look at it you did a very sweet install with the amp rack.

There's always plenty of room to pack more subs in though,

I'm redoing the whole system in the HD. It should be pretty sweet when completed.

I was up your way this weekend. Stayed at the Hilton Chicago on Michigan Ave. Took the nephews and niece to the Museum of Science and Industry on Sunday. Doesn't get much more fun than that..

It looks ok now, but I got to finish it all up once summer time comes around. the back is going to get glassed up with the back pannels and then all black carpet on the back to smooth it out.

And loud doesn't even describe the insanity of my new system.

I''m doing a similar thing with all the grey plastic parts from the back. I am currently smoothing them all out and gonna shot them gloss black to go with the stereo system.
