has anyone installed this in there L. It would be neat to have the bottle mounted right below your seat so you could turn it on when you neaded that extra little kick.

They do have remote bottle openers, and you can fit a bottle behind the seat if you take out the storage box and you don't want any stereo stuff back there.

maybe copy that rx7 and do it in the actual seat padding? had the passenger seat bottom flip up to open the bottle on the fly?

I would think twice before mounting a "missle" inside my cab. You ever seen what a pressurized cylinder can do when the valve breaks? I saw an oxygen cylinder go through the roof of a factory and land 300 feet away in the parking lot. I personally would mount it in the bed so that it shot out the back towards the tailgate.

Thumbs down

Please don't ever mount one in the cab. That's not a smart move.

There are other ways of hiding it. Maybe under the bed or something.

Actually it was an RX7 with the NOS hidden in the seat...but anyway. Does anyone actually have experience with a blown nitrous bottle or know someone who has? I didn't know it was all that much of a risk. I guess this setup isnt very safe then huh?

Isnt there a tech rule about it being mounted next to the driver per NHRA?

Mines not pretty, but being it's me
and my 8 year old driving in it 24/7,
there was no way I was keeping it closer .

When I'm not juicing, it comes out "in one piece"
Bottle, Brackets, and Warmer

FYI

I saw a safety training film in which a bottle of oxygen had the neck chopped off. To say the bottle became a missile would be an under statment. NEVER mount a bottle in the cab. The risks just aren't worth it. Save the coins for a remote bottle opener
