If you don't need or use a truck then I would go with the Cobra.

If you dont want to sell but he really wants it make shure you get enought to buy a new 03 L without loosing out the ***. and keep all your mods too.

If you are just interested in racing, I would get the 03 Cobra. The only thing about that is you can't run in the truck and Lightning class.

I think I got it figured...I going with a Lightning again!!! I can't fit into a Cobra as well as my truck!!!And 2 people can't fit in the passenger seat of the Cobra like the "L"
BTW, I asked him alot more than its worth b/c he wants all the mods left on!!!
My first mod on the new truck will be a K/B or Works blower!!!

new lightnings

my dealer said they don't expect to see the lightning next year. May be a year or two before the Generation 3's hit the streets. Stil alot of unfinished buisness from what I was told.

Anybody have credible info on this???

My 00 could be paid off by the time the Gen 3's hit the streets....hmmm. A daily driver and a Sunday cruiser. Good possibility unless the real estate market's bottom falls out so I can afford a house!!!

I don't know man. Seems like a lot of trouble just to get another vehicle just like the one you have. Think of all the down time modding the new truck just to get it where you are now. Plus there's the pain of haggling with the dealer on buying the truck (assuming you don't have connections at the dealership). Unless you really like the new blue or the '03 wheels, or are making a boat-load of cash on the sale I'd stick with your current proven performer truck. Just my opinion though .

Who wants to buy your truck? A local guy? I still haven't seen it run. Heard you clicked off a 7.2x at Huntsville a few weeks ago on the spray. Pretty impressive !
