20" Rims and Tires

Well, tommorow I'm biting the bullet and purchasing some 20" rims, I just need the Bling! Now on to tires. What are the 20" tires you guys use, and what are the measurements? Vinnie, if you read this, I specifically wanna know what your using cause I have the same drop, and I think the tires look perfect! Any input would be great. Thanks!

The dunlops are good, but I'm switching to Kuhmo's next! same size as the dunlops, but there a better tire. I have the same dunlops and I hate them. there overpriced and I don't think they are that great. My buddy has the kuhmo's now on and there nice. I like them better then mine and they feel smoother and they hook better. and there allot cheaper too

go to www.tirerack.com and punch in 295/40/20 look up that size and you'll see them.

One tire I've yet to hear anyone mention...(but I know folks on the board here have them) are the Pirelli Scorpion Zero's. The people at tirerack seem to like them. Any thoughts? I agree with the Kumho's though RT, seem like a nice tire.

anyone had trouble with rub on the bumper? I'm getting 22's (well, I have them all but that dirty UPS man dropped and bent a rim) but my wheel shop said the 22's will rub kind of alot.

Yeah, and they are Nitto 404's uh..... 305/45/22 or something pretty close to that.

Also, they're bigger than stock, they lifted my truck up atleast an inch, I think more

Pirelli Scorpion Zeros!!

305/45/20 with a tread wear of 300. Love these so far and grip really well. Had the Toyo proxies but they started to spin easily after awhile.

not a very good tire though, there is a reason why those are so cheap.

and i've heard good and bad things about the Toyo's... so for price and effienctcy i would go w/ the kumho's i run those too.

I have a set of goodyears on mine right now and they are a lot larger than the stock size wheel, it raised the speedo about 6 mph. The rims themselves are size 20x8.5 what size tires do you guys think would work with my truck and get it back close to the stock height tires? I looked at the kumho and have found a few good deals on them, so what size should I get. I think I am running 285/50/20 right now, thanks.

Possible anyone could find the Kumho's Ecsta's for anything lower than $211 a tire? Just asking, because tirerack doesn't have them in a warehouse near me, so shipping might be a bit expensive. Any input would help. Thanks

I bought BFG Comp T/A SSSs in 295/40-20.

Pluses: They are runflats, which means that you can leave the spare and jack behind. They will run for up to 200 miles at 50 MPH! Nice grip for a 20 (180 treadwear index). Nice looking tire. Crisp handling.

Cons: Expensive. Stiff sidewall=rougher ride. Requires some sort of wireless pressure monitoring system ($200 at the Tire Rack).
