.5 in the 1/4 mile...i would have to see it installed with no other mods added and run with slicks before and after to believe that.

My 1 k p/i convertor might net 1/10th on a good track day so if a non biased owner can get an honest 3/10ths out of the Yank..i will be swapping convertors.

Any guineas?

I'll get one if it would make my truck drop .5 et. Now who is the guinea pig? I tested the ART Carr and it was junk, I really don't like to R&R the tranny...

A local guy named Jamie (THEHYLANDR) on here had one. They are really big in the F-body cars. His worked VERY WELL. He got .3-.5 off his ET with it.

2003 DSG GT
13.61 @ 101.3 so far...

Sorry about getting off subject, but wow, you're getting a mid 13 second run out of a GT? What's been done to it?

Cyntaxx,
I agree all of the f-body guys swear by the Yank converter, yet no one in the L community is using them? I guess I'll be one of the guinea pigs.

Sorry guys, don't get on here much anymore.

After adding a 3K stall Yank and a set of ET Streets, I went from 12.79 to 12.27. I made a couple passes before the slicks and traction was completely nonexistent...

60' times went from a best of 1.91 to 1.624. It was real easy to keep the 60 times in the 1.6 range.

I have one in my Monster Box. Gregg installed it, and said that it appeared to be a quality unit. Unfortunately my Monster Box is sitting on a pallet waiting for the motor to be finished. When the truck is running again I'll let y'all know how it works.

We was all standn' around lookn' at how purty it was! Best looking converter I ever saw, and it's hard to explain about a tranny dyno, but it looked like it worked pretty well while we tested it.
