Expected times with these mods?

3lb lower, single program "summer program" and a modded airbox with k&n on F1's

Without a traction aiding device, I'd guess a 13.3-13.5 on a cooler day/evening. And a little slower in the summer heat.


BTW: Get the FTVB. You won't regret it.

i have the k&n and moded airbox setup and it makes more power than those big donkey di** filters everyone thinks they have to buy. things are restrictive.

How could you possibly know if your statement is true or not, Nate?

Now remember, I am an HVAC guy, and airflow is my game.
The big donkey d!k filters(to use your words), actually have more surface area to allow more air to flow without loosing filtering ability. There is also no way you are getting as much air through a K&N filter panel....box modded or not...as a person with a "donkey d!k" filter having twice the surface area for air to flow through and no box around it to restrict airflow.

Nate,

You may want to re-read that thread again if you think it says that a stock airbox flows more air than a larger open filter.

I think you may have gotten a bit confused by that thread.

next dyno day we do rocks lets switch filters and dyno the stock box and the "big one" and see what we find out.
