70 mph in Atlanta?...everytime I have driven around the
Atlanta perimeter "IT"S ROLLERBALL LIVE ON WHEELS"...
Driving 70 gets you mowed down like a grasshopper under
a John Deer belly mower...I really think Atlanta people think this
is the American Autobaun...after I finish any trip to Atlanta I
feel lucky to be alive and my Bolt not squashed by a semi...
or sideswiped by a BMW with someone puting on makeup or
talking on a cell phone...in my opinion driving in Atlanta
actually gets you closer to GOD since almost every driver is on
a hair trigger......with your name on their hood ornament.

If you drive 70 in Hotlanta, you best have a RAMP on the
back of your vehicle ...

I have driven through atlanta once in my truck, wasnt bad but more lanes then I care for. Needless to say I took the "loop" around the city on the way back. (which was still pretty hairy)

Well said SVT_KY.
Even here in Athens it of course has gotten worse (being a University town). I've had 2 Lightnings that have both been rear-ended here...one of my greatest accomplishments in life is keeping my truck dent- free vehicle in Athens...but it is a struggle.

Iam not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but if you had started your story like this..........

"Boy did I fluck up last night, blew past four cars. Only trouble was, the last car was a trooper sitting in the median. Should have know better, but I was out having fun heading to the track"

Can you see, HOW by starting a story like this, opposed to the way you started yours????????
Very well put Gator. It must be an age thing that makes us see a clearer picture.
I think some of these posters have a little to much testosterone built up in them.

It was a joke Cyntaxx. How is it stereotypical of me? Maybe it takes maturity to gain a sense of humour.

FWIW, I look up to and respect the "older" guys that don't stereotype and that show us young guys the same respect in return, like Gator

That's the best you got for me? Well at least you gave TZRLightning01 a good laugh. I understand it's been hard for him ever since he heard Mr. Rogers passed away.

With your maturity level, I'm just readying myself for the barrage of "Yo mamma" jokes...
