Got rid of my 1999 fully loaded Expe. eddie bauer, sunroof etc. Bought a 2002 L. I miss my soccer mom rig ( no kids) about 5% of the time, with the other 90% going towards a giant s*** eatin grin on my face! O' ya the other 5% is spent with my spincter slamed shut, grippin the wheel, lookin for cops and blowin the doors off all the pretenders. Get it on with no regrets homie!

You have 120 k of pictures in your signature. Please PLEASE consider shrinking them BOTH in file size and in pixle dimensions. Your sig is 2 screens long...

Thanks in advance

Doug

Coming from someone who has both a 2003 Lightning and a 2003 Eddie Bauer Expedition, I'd say go with the L. You won't regret it.

Thanks Guys!

BTW- I asked in the Expy Forum too. I'll see what they think.

I went to Bankston on Thursday, they're willing to X-Plan the L for me- 100 below invoice, if memory serves...

I wanted the Sonic Blue L, but after seeing it with those cheesy rims, I think I'll go black, if I get one.... I'm eyeballing that Cobra now, after seeing it up close! Wooooowee!

If the bolt pattern is 5 x 135, I can still get the L- I'll just have to buy some lower profile tires...... Hmmmmm

I'll let you guys know! And, thanks again!

PS- My HTML skills are non-existent Moderator. If you'll shrink my sig for me, I'd appreciate it! I don't know how...

I didn't read all the posts... But how often has someone at the gas station say, "damn thats a nice truck, they really as fast as they say they are." or "damn your driving my dream vehicle!", or the looks from everyone when your driving down the streets, or the women falling at your feet!! LIGHTNING!! well, maybe not the women falling at your feet, but you get the picture don't you.

Bighersh watch out for bankston. They will screw you over big time if your not careful. I almost had a 2003 until they wouldn't sale me the sonic blue on the showroom because hey said it was sold (been sitting there for 4 months afterwards). lied and told me i couldn't get x-plan on the lightning, and wanted my payments to be 835 a month.

I'm almost 64 years old. I got my first car(1937, customized, and 'built' eng., etc.) at 18 years of age. I've since owned a Mercedes, Saab, VW, Fiat, Jaguar, Jeep, Chevrolet(Corvair-2 of them, Monte Carlo, Z281LE), Pontiac(1979 big-block WS6 TA, GP), and some I've forgotten for the moment .

IMHO, my 01 L is the best vehicle I've ever owned ! 48,900 trouble-free miles on her now and she still turns me on...
