if i build my lower end, do i need to balance??

if i build my lower end, do i need to balance??

ok, if i buy a lower end package, should i get the engine balanced?.

i've installed engines are work, but you know, building them is a skill of the past, its cheeper to install a short block then rebuild it, thats why i'm asking, because i've never built a engine from the ground up that was meant to run, haha i've ripped apart engines and rebuilt them in class, but they weren't going back into cars/trucks

Yes, it should be balanced. Pick a good machine shop!

well then, if/when i do it, i'll send it out to the shop that does my shops machine work

I'd have them do a 'balanced and blueprinted' job on it.
