gauge pod installation

I still don't have the switchable sender thing worked out, but I think I just guessed wrong on the terminals (no multimeter handy).

Are those black tabs underneath the gauges switches? For dimming or other purposes?

"I decided to use only two temp gauges. Using two SPDT paddle switches from Radio Shack, one switch is used to toggle between tranny and diff temps, and the other switch is used to toggle between oil temp and water temp. An electronic boost gauge is the third gauge. Five gauges for the price of three (plus two additional senders)."

Genius!!! I'm gonna do the same thing soon! Now I'll be able to get all my readings without adding more gauges/pods!

Thanks! This should come in handy. I have to install some pods to show the real boost on my lightning when I get my pulley installed today. Will be pricing them today @ work (What else is work good for? <grin>).

Tim,

That is a great idea, w/ the switches. You are always thinking of a better way to do things.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. Just payin' back.

While I have a few original ideas in there, it's mostly stuff that I picked up from reading the helpful posts here.

How did we ever manage to exist before the Internet?

Look at the difference in size between the L and the Midget in front. Also, despite the Hotchkis drop, look at the difference in ground clearance.

Btw.......I always knew that Alphadoggy was one cool cat and sharp dresser
