Smile Smooth Bedcaps, how'd I do? Pics

I got my Street Scene smooth bed and tailgate caps painted and installed. I'm pretty happy with them so far. The only problem I can see is that I'll have to be very careful not to scratch them.

I rarely ever carry anything in the bed anyway so they should be alright.

Tim,

Looks sweet as always.

Are you going to be selling them also and how much prep was involved.

Looks great!

Now you need smooth:

Mirrors
Bed Steps
BOTTOM of the tailgate
Rollpan!
cowl
back window trim

THEN you'll REALLY be set!

Thanks guys!

Vinnie, they required little prep, they actually looked real good. I'm not going to stock them but I can get them.

I DO have one set left. I prepped both sets for primer and chose the set I wanted to use. They were both good so it didn't matter which set I used. After reading Don's Bolt's post about his not fitting, I decided to order two sets in case I needed a selection.

I'm going to paint the tailgate handle and hopefully stop there. I can see how this smoothing deal can lead to more and more.

chris, check your mail.

What about covering the tops of the caps with some of that clear Xpel film from 3M? That stuff is TOUGH.
