Installed new headlight Bulbs :)

New head light bulbs put in this afternoon, I bought the Bright Blue/ White bulbs from a local auto parts store. They look great compared to the old ones. passanger side was easy to install, but the drivers side was a bish to get 2. Took about 22 mins in all

What kind did you get? I installed some Sylvania Silverstars a while back and loved them...

the driver's side was harder...that lever you pull up did NOT want to come out.

Jwasted,

How did you install the new bulbs?

FYI...There are two tabs at the back of the headlights under the hood that you pull up on and then the whole headlight slides out from the front. Then you just put the new bulbs in. Takes a total of about 10 minutes.

I learned the hard way by trying to out them in from the back and then finally read the instruction manual (I know, guys aren't supposed to read those things).

I didn't read the instructions and it took me an hour to install the bulbs. After about 45 minutes of scratching my head and pulling on the tabs. I finally got the instructions out. I had to read it a couple of times, but I got it. The headlights are a pain to get off. Those tab have to be all the way up are they aren't coming out.

hey lightningtogo..........

Hey pal, didn't your parents teach you to be nice to people. did you think that everyone here is as smart as you think you are. It took me one time to figure out you have to pull the lense unit to replace that bulb. this guy was just sharing and you have to make some smart-assed remark. please, next time keep it to yourself as people like you are suckin up my bandwidth. Thanks.

I got the same ones for my truck. I promised myself I wouldnt spend alot of money on the truck so I didnt get real HID's. But the Sylvanias are much better than the dim stock bulbs.
