I need to get lugs (acorn style) for slicks and don't know the correct pitch. I bought a test one 14mm 1.5m pitch and no good
if anyone knows the proper size or where to get would be appreciated.

They are 14 x 2.0 ... And for some sanctioning bodies
they must be OPEN not closed tops

Actually, they don't have to be of the open type, it is not a rule!

The wheels studs have to extend into the lugnut atleast as deep as the diameter of the stud or 14mm in our case.

If the lugs are of the closed type, you may have to remove one at the track to show the inspector how much the stud goes into the nut, thats all!!

 

So that makes it a rule in my book

I went to napa and the guy there said there was only a 14mm-1.5 and I even said it was a 14mm-2.0 he could not find it in his book so I just took 1 to see if it was right and obiviously no go
I will just go to a rim store by me there a dime a dozen I just went to napa because it was on the way to work.
I am in no rush still need to get traction bars

Sorry about the back, my wife is a spinal cord injury and is in constant pain from the waiste down due to a back pain. Spends all her time laying on her stomach, making jewlery to sell at craft shows. DO NOT take back pain to lightly, and always see a specialist.
