SS Silverado

Hey guys, Chevrolet built the SS to rely on the SS name, but everbody seems to know its nothing but paint and wheels. On
e-bay there are several "NEW" ones for $34,000. to $36,000.
great resale huh? ****

I honestly feel bad for Chevy. You'd think that all of the old diehard 454SS fans would be picking them up, but they can't even get sticker price for one...

Oh well, maybe they'll learn for the next try. How sweet would it be to see a 2005 Silverado 383SS?? (Maybe it'll LOOK better, TOO!)

Personally, though, I think they should take the xTremes and turn them into the new Typhoon and Syclone....

That's classic. It's a shame that GM has let the SS name embarass itself this much. The SS reminds me of the Boss 5.4

Whatever happened to great GM vehicles like the turbo Buicks, SyTys, LT1 Impalas, and LT1/LS1 f-bodies? All are extinct or have been turned into 6 cyl fwd POS's (the Impala)...

The only "performance" vehicle they have nowadays still in production is the Corvette (and I *suppose* the GTP)...

Sad ain't it?
