Rear rotors...AHHHH

How in the world do you get these things off. I've soaked it in gallons of WD, in banged the hub-pad area, if banged the back, I've even taken off the parking break spring. I'm tempted to go order some small explosives.

Do yourself(or the next owner/mech.) a favor and use some of this http://www.bmpd.com/bmw/parts/catalog/tuneup_11a.shtml when reinstalling the new rotors.

Here is another guys comments: http://www.corral.net/forums/showthr...hreadid=303240

IMHO, it's the best but any anti-seize will/should work for that application.

I used my brother's Johnny Hot Wrench (torch) with a big tip. Try to avoid hitting far from the hub or you may warp the rotor.

Also, put anti-sieze on the outside of the rotor, at the wheel flange, so you don't have to use ****ie Dead Sledge next time you change tires.

That's for drums. Not rotors.
