Well I was on my way to the girlfriends house yesterday, and while crusig about 65 on the freeway I hear a loud pop and the L starts missing really bad. I pull over, pop the hood only to find the 3rd plug from the front on the drivers side to be laying there with Coil Pack and all cracked to hell. I knew this was coming cause i could hear the ticking noise coming for the past couple of weeks just never got the time to check the plug torque. I have extended warranty on the L but its not through Ford and we all know how this works.

I now have two questions. One, does anyone in the Houston area recomend anyone that might except my extended warranty and do good work on the L besides the dealer? And also, what is the reasons that anyone has come across as to why this has not been recalled if it happens to so many 5.4L owners. Anyhelp would be great.
