tapping, ticking, sizzling...

just bought my Lightning, not used to the sounds it makes when I get where I am going and park it... even if I never went into the boost, when I get out I am greeted by plenty of ticking and tapping from the engine for a minute or so, with what sounds like sizzling water, like dropping water droplets on a hot frying pan

the engine temp looks fine so I assume its just A/C condenstaion on the engine, but my firebird was never had this much of a "parking-lot presence"

am i worried for nothing?

the underside of our trucks gets hotter than hell, all the trucks I have owned make those noises. The L does seems to have a little extra hiss when you first shut her down though. Nothing to worry about

It's the cats...

Try jacking it up, and going under there. The cats sound like they're boiling some water inside.

Nothing to worry about though.

well

the ticking is from the exhaust going through 4 cat.
Its normal.

when you shut the truck off it releases the pressure in the vacumm lines (at least mine does with the aftermart\ket boost gauge) so that is like a swoosh..

and the rest, I dunno...
