Oil Seperator Question

This may be a stupid question, but what is the purpose of the line at the back of the S/C plenum where the oil seperator connects to?

I got it at www.razorsedgemotorsports.com

That circut is a "PCV" valve and hoses. (Positive crankcase ventilation) The point is to pull crankcase gasses from the highest point (valve cover) and burn them. As well as keeping a steadily designed vaccum on the crankcase.

WOT, Since you seem to know about these systems, if I removed the tube which runs fom the bottom of the lower intake plenum which connects to the pcv system(I guess to draw the excess oil out of the lower intake) would I show more boost than if I was to have the tube connected?

would I show more boost than if I was to have the tube connected?
I simply don't know. I have seen the little port on the bott of the lower manifold. But did'nt pay attention to where it was connected.

Maybe this next weekend I'll have a look at it?
