Gtech/Pro Competition

Hey guys, I just got a Gtech/Pro Competition today and went out and gave it a try. I have a mostly stock 2000 Lightning (Boost Bypass and K&N filter). I ran 5 runs and came up everytime with around 14.4 Seconds on the quarter and only 250HP max. I know it measures RWHP but isn't that a big drop from the rated 360 HP? I figure it would be around 320 to 330 HP. Is this right?

Thanks,

Jay

MY buddy had a G-tech pro "the older one" and in his stang it said it would go 13..2 in the 1/4. He took it to the track and with good 60's his car would only go 14.6.... Maybe the new ones are more accurate.................

make sure it is level. Also, the readings are highly dependant on the weight you input.

I am guessing the weight would be 4670 - 360 plus my weight? Isn't the weight posted on the car door the weight with two 180 pound adults included?

Thanks

I have one, never used it. My buddy has a mustang he took up to the track, but before he used mine a lot. It was within .5 in the time. I don't know about h/p.

My brother also used it on his eclipse and again, was like within .7 of the 'rated' time it was given. And yes, level it is very important. So is the weight. Two major factors in getting accurate times.

I think that is the weight with noone in it, but I could be wrong.

Just put in like 6000 and I'm sure you'll like the outputs. lol

I am just wanting to make sure there is not something wrong with my truck. Has anyone seen what HP a Gtech/Pro Comp says your vehicle is putting out?
