Just Ordereda Roush kit

Looked and looked at different lowering options and finally settled on Roush. I hope i dont need a kidney belt and mouth piece to ride in her now.
One question for the guys that have them: What do i have to do with the bump stops? I know they send you a set but i thought i read that you guys were using them in the back and moving the back ones to the front. Or should i just buy new ones for the front?

Thanks guys

Think Roush supplies the front bump stops and most shave down the rear about half of the original height.

I am going with that same setup! Did you order it w/ the shocks or w/o?

with the shocks cyntaxx. Erik said something about using the supplied bumpstops on the rear. Said you guys could help me out on that subject. If cutting them down is what has to be done, i'd rather find some after market shorty's. Any suggestions?

Hmmm I was told the front were supplied? Don't quote me on that though...I know Eric told me rears too but I had the impression they supplied the fronts according to people on this site.

Might wanna wait until a Roush kit owner replies...

I just saw your thread cyntaxx. Maybe between the two of us we'll be able to get some questions answered.

At least my subject thread got straightened out.

The 2003 needs them it was obvious after I install the factory shackles. Then my best friend had a great idea to use the belltech shackles i had left over from my 2000 install. I dont think a 99-02 will need them though. Good luck

Hey sonic, was looking at that tread you put up and you said you dont need the shocks unless you have a 99 or 00. Are the ones on a 2001 or newer the same shocks roush supplys ?

Some say they are 'custom valved" I have the stock shocks in and she rides great. I didnt know i could order the kit without them so i will just keep them in reserve till i need to replace them.

The one Roush supplies is the same length as our 01-03 shocks however they are re-valved. I am going to purchase the entire set with the new Roush Bilsteins but it is not a requirement. Price without the shocks is 450.

Oh...ok I thought i just blew money on something i already have. If thats the case i want the re-valved shocks. Everything as a kit should work better then a piece meal kit. Im good to go.
