Is this a good price .........

FOr an o2 Lightning (black) with 4k on it.

$26,500 asking(dealer) ?

Think I can work it to $23,500 or 24?

Kicker is that they'll be selling a Lightning but receiving my 00 in return.

All depends if they can give me at least $20,000 on mine.

Whatcha think?

sounds pretty good, might can get it down a lil bit. maybe you can get them to void the warranty before you buy it and then take a bunch more off the price

That's less than I'd let mine go for; and, it's a year older with 10K more miles on the OD. Good deal. If you can get it for less, that's a bonus.

I'm quoting those prices as out the door or "on the road." I think I can pull it.

Ill be surprised if you get 20 for yours

VERY surprised

KBB marks mine at 18,200 trade

Perfect condition with 30,000 miles KBB rates at 20,300

Thing is NO dealer will EVER tell you your trade is perfect.

And the market is saturated

Doug...mine IS in perfect condition. I only have 14,000 miles on it too...not 30,000.

BTW the truck(one I'm looking at) actually only has 1100 miles on it.

Exactly. It's not the price of the truck they are selling, it's the difference you will be paying with the trade in. You need to have a figure going in that you are comfortable with that you are willing to put out along with your trade in. Usually a cash out will get you the best selling price, so if you can sell your truck yourself, you might be able to make a better deal. Good luck. Don't be afraid to walk out if you're not comfortable with the numbers. I've had deals where the salesman will follow me to my car still trying to better the deal.

Thats what my pops always taught me...99% of the time they will follow you out to your car and right before you shut the door they'll say....DEAL.
