For all you guys running around with the original JDM wire harness for there electric fan kit, I would highly recommend switching to the new harness. I recieved mine yesterday and installed it last night. The new harness is proffesionally built and the wires are twice as thick as the original.

My original harness melted the wires in 2 locatation, due to 2 factors:
1) the wires being too thin and
2) the bonehead that installed it decided to wire the harness alittle different from the instructions.*

*This had little to do with the evential failure as the fan operated fine for 2yrs before it finally started giving me headaches.

All I really want to say is do yourself a favor and get the NEW wire harness because the old one is crap compared to the new.
