We use pam on the grill of my race car to keep the rubber build up from blocking the grill.

Rayden, all good suggestions here,but

presume from your statement about needed items, you didn't have major 60k and minor 75k service done? Do items indicated not on your list. Have you changed PCV valve, fuel filter, or replace/clean air filter? Tires for wear & pressure? Use the PAM Have a good trip! BTW, don't neglect needed maintainance so you can get mods done by you-know-who!

Hey Jake..Well I always kept my fuel filter changed at least every 6,000 miles. My air raid filter cone cleaned every oil change..However I hadn't thought about the PCV valve..I'll have that done also... Can you recommend me a good ATF to use? Also should I stick with synthetics on my next oil change being I have high miles?

Oh...Trust me Jake, If something goes wrong after a mod done by "you-know-who", It would definitely be because of neglected maintainance on my behalf...That guy is the best when it comes to modding

Rayden, like a person who accepts responsibility

No reason not to stick with synthetic oil. BMW did a test (reported on supra forums) on Mobil 1 going 500,000 miles (I think) that showed torn down engine still met factory specs! It seems that Greg Evans, FTVB, recommended Mobil 1 in tranny, but do a search. If search not working reach out for greg & ask him. Wouldn't want to tell you wrong. Since you have a drain plug on 99, be sure to drain torque converter to get all existing fluid out. Recommend going to someplace that has those "extraction machines" that does this job thoroughly.

Where in the area can I find one of this places with it. Have you had it done?

Elo, sorry I've never had it done.

Only 11.7K miles on truck. The dealers have it, I think, but would be expensive. I think the "jiffy lube" type places have it. Call around, plus I'd want to see it done in order to both understand the process and to see how careful and professional they were.

You said you did your brakes.

Did you flush your brake fluid or is it dark coca-cola colored?

Air up your tires and have a nice trip!

Nope..I didn't flush my brake fluid and it does look like coca cola..I guess i'll stop by a brake shop to have that done..

How much pressure should I put in my tires before the road trip?

Unless you have the original tires on - I go by the max (cold) pressure printed on the sidewall.
